Event Description:
Please join the Washington Historical Society for our popular annual Christmas House Tour! This year’s tour will be held on Tuesday, December 10 from 1-4 and 6-9 p.m. The following locations will be adorned in Christmas finery and open for tours this year. Locations include:
301 S. Pine Street
115 W. Holland Street
1511 Oak Ridge
114 Shadow Creek
1610 Fayette Avenue
Washington Historical Society
This is a “can’t miss” event! Tickets are $20 and are now available at Nena Ace, Step Back in Time, and Homespun, and via PayPal on the Historical Society website www.washingtonilhs.com. On the day of the event, tickets can be purchased at the Historical Society from 11-7 pm.

Bicentennial History Exhibit – On display July 13th – August 24th, 2025 at Five Points Washington

Bicentennial and historical images will be exhibited by the Washington Historical Society on the Community Gallery Wall at Five Points Washington. The carefully curated photographs selected for this exhibit give a unique insight into events, people, and places from Washington’s past. The selected photographs span the last 150 years of Washington’s history and feature community events and everyday life in Washington.


StoryWalk in Washington Park

Take a walk through Washington Park and enjoy a story as you stroll! Beginning at the parking lot located on the Lincoln Grade School side of Washington Park, follow the sidewalk to read a story. This two-month session’s book is Señorita Mariposa By Ben Gundersheimer and will be displayed through Tuesday, September 30th.
