SCORE Peoria is offering the following workshop: Where to Start with Government Contracting? This workshop will discuss the basics of government contracting and is ideal for businesses that are new to doing business with the government or those that need a refresher on what they should be doing. She will also discuss how PTAC can provide assistance as they register as a vendor at various government levels and also briefly discuss government set asides and how small businesses can certify to improve their opportunities as well as consideration for subcontracting opportunities. Our presenter for this workshop will be Keli Krueger-Huhra, Director of the Illinois Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) at Bradley University's Turner Center for Entrepreneurship in the Foster College of Business. Animal Rescue Giving Tree at Washington District Library – Sunnyland Branch
Help the Tazewell County Animal Shelter stock their shelves and provide newly adopted animals with the essentials they need. Beginning February 1, 2026, select ornaments with items to donate, purchase the items, and bring them back to the Sunnyland Branch by March 10th.
