Hear the HFO with the world-class Harlem String Quartet, known for crossing freely among Classical, Jazz, Latin, and Contemporary musics. All those threads weave through the entire program – with the West Side Story Concerto, Gershwin’s Cuban Overture and William Grant Still’s Afro American Symphony. This is a concert of sizzle, heart, and soul.

Animal Rescue Giving Tree at Washington District Library – Sunnyland Branch

Help the Tazewell County Animal Shelter stock their shelves and provide newly adopted animals with the essentials they need. Beginning February 1, 2026, select ornaments with items to donate, purchase the items, and bring them back to the Sunnyland Branch by March 10th.
