Join us for the Washington Winter Walkabout sponsored by the Washington Chamber of Commerce and Joyful Yards! Participating businesses will have a wintery mix of signage items displayed in their storefronts or office windows as part of a town-wide scavenger hunt. The fun starts on January 24th and runs through February 8. Special thanks to our prize sponsors - Step Back in Time, Moon Family Dental, Trapp Electric, Associates in Dentistry, the Washington Historical Society and Bard Optical!
Grab your kids, your friends, family and neighbors to get out to join us for the Washington Winter Walkabout presented by the Washington Chamber of Commerce and Joyful Yards! Community Members will "walkabout" the community while having fun hunting down the wintery signage in different storefronts or offices. If the business is in the 61571 zip code or a Washington Chamber of Commerce member, they are fair game! You can download a tracking sheet from any one of the signs or from the Washington Chamber's Website, as well as pick up a physical copy in the Washington Park District entryway. To be entered for prizes, your sheet must be turned into the Washington Chamber of Commerce or Washington Park District office by February 10, 2025.
One entry for playing, five for finding them all!
Take pictures and post them on Facebook or Instagram with #WashingtonWinterWalkabout and tag the Chamber while you are out having fun! You never know when you may be rewarded...
Winners will only be announced on the Washington Chamber of Commerce Facebook/Instagram page.
