Event Description:
Washington's annual festival is back and better than ever! Here are a few of the Festival Highlights! Community Night Dinner and Showcase, Wednesday, May 27 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. with music from 7:30-9:00 p.m. Christian Concert Night (6:00-10:00 p.m.) and Teen Night (7:00-9:00 p.m.) on Thursday Night. Carnival Armband Times are Thursday Night from 6:00-10:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. The one time armbands are $20.00 in advance or $25.00 day of. Megabands can be purchased for $60.00 in advance or $65.00 during the carnival and are good for all five days of the carnival. Armbands can be purchased through any of the Washington Schools from May 1-15, or at the Chamber Office from May 18-22. After May 22nd all Armbands will be sold at the higher price on Carnival grounds. Fireworks on Friday and Saturday at 9:30 p.m. (Approximate time based on sunset.)

Ongoing Programs & Features

Bicentennial History Exhibit – On display July 13th – August 24th, 2025 at Five Points Washington

Bicentennial and historical images will be exhibited by the Washington Historical Society on the Community Gallery Wall at Five Points Washington. The carefully curated photographs selected for this exhibit give a unique insight into events, people, and places from Washington’s past. The selected photographs span the last 150 years of Washington’s history and feature community events and everyday life in Washington.


StoryWalk in Washington Park

Take a walk through Washington Park and enjoy a story as you stroll! Beginning at the parking lot located on the Lincoln Grade School side of Washington Park, follow the sidewalk to read a story. This two-month session’s book is Señorita Mariposa By Ben Gundersheimer and will be displayed through Tuesday, September 30th.
