Vacation Bible Camp 

is a joint venture of Bethany Community Church and Camp Good News

 June 15-19

One Camp- Two Locations

Bethany Community Church Farmhouse at 27265 Dutch Lane:   K-1st grade (age 5 by September 1) farm-themed activities are held at the Farmhouse from 9:15-11:45am.

Camp Good News at 26010 Liberty Lane:  2nd-6th grade camp activities will be held at CGN from 9am- noon

Special Closing Program and Activities:  On Friday, we'll have a closing program at 11:30am at CGN.  Parents are invited to come!  Feel free to bring a lawn chair or blanket.  At noon, a light lunch will be provided and field games and a pool party at CGN will follow until 2:15pm  Parents and children can participate in the optional lunch. Children can stay for the games/pool party if there is a parent or other adult supervising that child during the activities.

What to Bring:  Please bring your Bible.  Come with sunscreen applied and wear "camp" clothes and tennis shoes.   Please do NOT bring cell phones, music players or any electronic device.

Ongoing Programs & Features

Bicentennial History Exhibit – On display July 13th – August 24th, 2025 at Five Points Washington

Bicentennial and historical images will be exhibited by the Washington Historical Society on the Community Gallery Wall at Five Points Washington. The carefully curated photographs selected for this exhibit give a unique insight into events, people, and places from Washington’s past. The selected photographs span the last 150 years of Washington’s history and feature community events and everyday life in Washington.


StoryWalk in Washington Park

Take a walk through Washington Park and enjoy a story as you stroll! Beginning at the parking lot located on the Lincoln Grade School side of Washington Park, follow the sidewalk to read a story. This two-month session’s book is Señorita Mariposa By Ben Gundersheimer and will be displayed through Tuesday, September 30th.
