Event Description:
Fundraising Event For Almost Home Kids at Children's Hospital of Illinois
Tickets: $25 per person. Purchase a reserved table for 2, 4 or 10 people or open seating at picnic tables.
Tickets include entrance to event and LIVE entertainment by Johnny Walker. (Please note the map is only a template and tables will be assigned by the event committee.) The event is planned to take place outdooors. In the case of inclement weather, the event will go on inside. Tickets for open seating my be sold at the door if event is not sold out.
Drinks: Wine, beer and other beverages are available for purchase from Tres Rojas Winery.
Food: First Response Food and The Sweet Spot Cakery will be available for purchase. These generous businesses will donate a portion of their proceeds to Almost Home Kids at Childrens's Hospital of Illinois.
No outside food or drink is permitted.
Games/Activites: Purchase necklaces to play "Heads or Tails" to win prizes. Donations will be accepted to meet the needs of Almost Home Kids. Please bring cash or Venmo to play.
Details: Adult only event. The event will go on rain or shine. No refunds will be offered, your donations to Almost Home Kids are greatly appreciated!
All proceeds will benefit Almost Home Kids! We are raising money for house supplies, the meal fund and the family photo project.
Come out and enjoy a night with friends and "Open the possibilities for the children at Almost Home Kids! "

Bicentennial History Exhibit – On display July 13th – August 24th, 2025 at Five Points Washington

Bicentennial and historical images will be exhibited by the Washington Historical Society on the Community Gallery Wall at Five Points Washington. The carefully curated photographs selected for this exhibit give a unique insight into events, people, and places from Washington’s past. The selected photographs span the last 150 years of Washington’s history and feature community events and everyday life in Washington.


StoryWalk in Washington Park

Take a walk through Washington Park and enjoy a story as you stroll! Beginning at the parking lot located on the Lincoln Grade School side of Washington Park, follow the sidewalk to read a story. This two-month session’s book is Señorita Mariposa By Ben Gundersheimer and will be displayed through Tuesday, September 30th.
