Research shows that mindfulness practice reduces stress, enhances concentration, de-clutters and sharpens our minds. Wisnu Meier will cover what mindfulness is and how it benefits us through lecture as well as some simple hands on experience. Registration required – limited to the first 25 registered. Take a walk through Washington Park and enjoy a story as you stroll! Beginning at the parking lot located on the Lincoln Grade School side of Washington Park, follow the sidewalk to read a story. This two-month session’s book is Love Monster by Rachel Bright.

Friends of Washington District Library is accepting book, DVD, and CD donations for our Spring Booksale. Donations will be accepted March 30 – April 12 during open hours at the Main Library.
