Tax planning is the process of considering various tax options in order to legally conduct and operate your small business. Good tax advice is a very valuable commodity. If you are a start-up business or if you are considering starting your own business, then this training event is for you. Discussion Points: -Determine when and how to eliminate or reduce taxes -Keeping accurate accounting -Improper allocation of income -How to lower your tax rate -Controlling the time when tax must be paid -Claiming tax credits -Avoiding the most common and costly tax planning mistakes -Learn ways to save on business income taxes -Planning and organizing for a new business

Animal Rescue Giving Tree at Washington District Library – Sunnyland Branch

Help the Tazewell County Animal Shelter stock their shelves and provide newly adopted animals with the essentials they need. Beginning February 1, 2026, select ornaments with items to donate, purchase the items, and bring them back to the Sunnyland Branch by March 10th.
