10th Annual Take Pride in Washington Clean Up Day. in memory of Dr. Rita Fischbach. Join the community and organizations that come out to clean up various areas of our city. Free t-shrits, gloves, and refreshments. Plus the feeling of satisfaction knowing that you're a part of what keeps Washington the place it is!

Take a walk through Washington Park and enjoy a story as you stroll! Beginning at the parking lot located on the Lincoln Grade School side of Washington Park, follow the sidewalk to read a story. This two-month session’s book is Love Monster by Rachel Bright.

Friends of Washington District Library is accepting book, DVD, and CD donations for our Spring Booksale. Donations will be accepted March 30 – April 12 during open hours at the Main Library.
