Summer Small Business Saturday was an event started in 2014 to promote Washington's small businesses and to help boost shopping local and shopping small for one special day during the summer! Many Washington shops will have their own specials and events during the day.

StoryWalk in Washington Park
Take a walk through Washington Park and enjoy a story as you stroll! Beginning at the parking lot located on the Lincoln Grade School side of Washington Park, follow the sidewalk to read a story. This two-month session’s book is Love Monster by Rachel Bright.
FoWL Booksale Donations
Looking for something to do this weekend? How about spring cleaning your bookshelves!
Friends of Washington District Library is accepting book, DVD, and CD donations for our Spring Booksale. Donations will be accepted March 30 – April 12 during open hours at the Main Library.
