This is the WCOC spin off of Small Business Saturday - an event that was conceived to encourage holiday shoppers to patronize BRICK & MORTAR businesses that are SMALL & LOCAL. Come on out for Washington's Second Summer Small Business Saturday. Participating small businesses will have coupons available on July 18 and will also being handing out tote bags filled with special offers from various small businesses. Start out on Washington Square for a kick-off presentation at 10am!

Animal Rescue Giving Tree at Washington District Library – Sunnyland Branch

Help the Tazewell County Animal Shelter stock their shelves and provide newly adopted animals with the essentials they need. Beginning February 1, 2026, select ornaments with items to donate, purchase the items, and bring them back to the Sunnyland Branch by March 10th.
