Come in for a different STEAM-inspired activity on the 1st Thursday of every month. Come explore the fascinating world of animal camouflage with 4-H STEAM. Participants will learn how animals use clever adaptations to blend into their surroundings and avoid predators. Plus, they’ll get a chance to design their own habitats to hide an animal! This educational and fun-filled session is perfect for curious minds eager to discover the hidden secrets of the animal kingdom! Intended for ages 5-12.
Take a walk through Washington Park and enjoy a story as you stroll! Beginning at the parking lot located on the Lincoln Grade School side of Washington Park, follow the sidewalk to read a story. This two-month session’s book is Love Monster by Rachel Bright.
