Santa?s Mailbox arrives outside by Blacksmith Restaurant for letters to Santa. Include a return address and drop them off early and you will get a reply from Santa! Specialty Stores start Holiday Hours, most will now being open on Sundays 12-4. Bring a canned good or non-perishable food item to any of the participating Specialty Shops Retail Stores to be donated to WHIP (Washington Helps Its People) and enter to win our gift basket drawing. It?s a $300+ value basket filled with products and items from participating stores and businesses. You could win a prize basket and help us stock the WHIP food pantry. We will draw the winner at our Thankful Thursday night.

Take a walk through Washington Park and enjoy a story as you stroll! Beginning at the parking lot located on the Lincoln Grade School side of Washington Park, follow the sidewalk to read a story. This two-month session’s book is Love Monster by Rachel Bright.

Animal Rescue Giving Tree at Washington District Library – Sunnyland Branch

Help the Tazewell County Animal Shelter stock their shelves and provide newly adopted animals with the essentials they need. Beginning February 1, 2026, select ornaments with items to donate, purchase the items, and bring them back to the Sunnyland Branch by March 10th.
