SCORE Peoria and the Washington Chamber of Commerce are teamming up to offer Simple Steps for Growing Your Business. A 4 Session Seminar that takes place over eight weeks. Simple Steps for Growing Your Business is an interactive program that provides small business owners and managers the knowledge and tools you need to analyze, assess and grow your venture. It helps switch your strategy from start-up mode to growth mode.
Location:
Each session will meet in the Library Meeting Room at Five Points Washington   
Date/Time Information:
The Sessions will take place on Thursday Mornings from 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. Session dates: September 20th, October 11th, October 25th, and November 8th. There may be a fifth session in January to share you success.

Bicentennial History Exhibit – On display July 13th – August 24th, 2025 at Five Points Washington

Bicentennial and historical images will be exhibited by the Washington Historical Society on the Community Gallery Wall at Five Points Washington. The carefully curated photographs selected for this exhibit give a unique insight into events, people, and places from Washington’s past. The selected photographs span the last 150 years of Washington’s history and feature community events and everyday life in Washington.


StoryWalk in Washington Park

Take a walk through Washington Park and enjoy a story as you stroll! Beginning at the parking lot located on the Lincoln Grade School side of Washington Park, follow the sidewalk to read a story. This two-month session’s book is Señorita Mariposa By Ben Gundersheimer and will be displayed through Tuesday, September 30th.
