According to an August 28, 2017 CNBC article, one in 18 older adults fall prey to financial abuse each year. CEFCU and our community partners from local police departments, SeniorNet, and Center for Prevention of Abuse want to arm you with information to ward off such crimes. During the seminar we will discuss financial exploitation by a family member, phones scams like a relative in distress or a fine or bill needing to be paid; computer scams such as working from home job offers, romance scams, or computer virus scams; and much more. Please join us on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. for a SeniorCents Financial Abuse Prevention seminar. This seminar is free and open to the community. A lite lunch will be served.
