Event Description:
Each year, the Illinois Institute for Addiction Recovery hosts Recovery Walks! Recovery Walks! is a day of celebration and fun. This family-friendly event, includes lunch, live music, face painting, Balloon Artist - The Unique Twist, as well as, a leisurely group walk on our paved walking trail while celebrating recovery. There will also be a silent auction with donations from restaurants, sports teams, wellness centers and other local businesses. All proceeds from the event go towards the Ameel Rashid Scholarship for Addiction Recovery.

Animal Rescue Giving Tree at Washington District Library – Sunnyland Branch

Help the Tazewell County Animal Shelter stock their shelves and provide newly adopted animals with the essentials they need. Beginning February 1, 2026, select ornaments with items to donate, purchase the items, and bring them back to the Sunnyland Branch by March 10th.
