Since a selfie is not a headshot or professional picture, the Washington Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Lauren O Photography to offer professional headshots on July 13, 2023.

Location:

All headshots will be taken on Washington Square. 

Date/Time Information:

Two Sessions are being offered. A morning session from 9:30-11:30 and an afternoon session from 3:30-5:30. You must register ahead of time. Registration will close at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 12.

Fees/Admission:

The cost is $30.00. You will receive one digital image.

Animal Rescue Giving Tree at Washington District Library – Sunnyland Branch

Help the Tazewell County Animal Shelter stock their shelves and provide newly adopted animals with the essentials they need. Beginning February 1, 2026, select ornaments with items to donate, purchase the items, and bring them back to the Sunnyland Branch by March 10th.
