Families are encouraged to come out and bring blankets, lawn chairs,and a picnic meal. Don't feel like packking a picnic? We will have a grill going with pork chops, hot dogs, and more available for sale. Music. Fun. Food. Washington Police Department K9 Demonstration at 4:30pm. Car Seat Safety Checks also available. Face painter. Balloon artist. Bounce house. DJ. Backyard games available to play.

Animal Rescue Giving Tree at Washington District Library – Sunnyland Branch

Help the Tazewell County Animal Shelter stock their shelves and provide newly adopted animals with the essentials they need. Beginning February 1, 2026, select ornaments with items to donate, purchase the items, and bring them back to the Sunnyland Branch by March 10th.
