Event Description:
OVER/UNDER 210 DOUBLES TOURNAMENT RULES
1. The tournament is sanctioned USBC and open to all ADULT sanctioned bowlers who are in good standing with the USBC and are currently sanctioned with USBC. Each team will consist of 2 bowlers, 1 must have an average 210 or higher, the other must have an average of 209 or lower.
2. The entry fee will be $80/bowler ($160/team); $36 lineage and $124 prize fund. Payout will be 1:4 entries.
3. NEW THIS YEAR! Each bowler must pay a $5 membership fee prior to participating in their first event of the 2025-2026 season (August-April). These fees will go towards the bowling pin trophies given to the champions of each event, as well as software fees payable to The Bowler's Eye.
4. This event will max at 36 teams.
5. Check-in will begin at 9:00am. Practice will begin promptly at 10:00am, with tournament play starting at 10:10am. Lane assignments will be chosen at random.
6. Handicap will be based individually for this event: 80% of 220. Handicap will be 50% of your team handicap for baker matches.
7. All bowlers will bowl 6 games of qualifying across 12 lanes. All ties in the standings will be broken by the highest team game, with handicap, during qualifying. If a tie occurs for the last cut position, a 9th and 10th frame roll off will occur. The top 1:4 (rounded to 6, 8, 12, or 16) will bowl in a staggered bracket, best-of-three baker matches, with byes for top qualifiers where appropriate. If after the 3 baker matches, teams are tied at 1.5 points, there will be a 9th and 10th frame roll off to determine the winner. Exact format subject to change based on total number of teams in the event.
8. Brackets, high game pots and singles pots will be available. Individual brackets are unlimited at $5 each, and will begin on games 1, 2, 3 and 4. Doubles brackets are unlimited at $10 each, and will also begin on games 1, 2, 3 and 4. Individual high game pot will be $20 and pays the top game each of the 6 games. Doubles high game pot will be $40 and pays the top game each of the 6 games. Singles will also be offered at $20 and pays 1:4 per division. If enough interest, all brackets, and side pots will have handicap and scratch divisions. ALL BRACKET AND SIDE POT MONEY MUST BE PICKED UP PRIOR TO LEAVE THE TOURNAMENT. We will not mail/send money that is not claimed at the end of the event.
9. If at any point during the tournament, a bowler is unable to finish, they will not be given a refund and will receive zeros for the remainder of the frames/games.
10. All bowlers entering this tournament are to follow USBC rules. All decisions made by the tournament manager are FINAL. All other USBC rules will apply.
