Join us and the Washington Historical Society for Laura Keyes' presentation of "Moving Day for Laura Ingalls Wilder!" Mrs. Wilder is preparing to move her family from South Dakota to Missouri. This program is designed for a younger audience and shows the challenges and some of the fun aspects of life on the frontier in 1870s and 1880s. Children will learn that the extraordinary Laura Ingalls Wilder had a rather ordinary life, just like them! All ages; no registration

Take a walk through Washington Park and enjoy a story as you stroll! Beginning at the parking lot located on the Lincoln Grade School side of Washington Park, follow the sidewalk to read a story. This two-month session’s book is Love Monster by Rachel Bright.

Friends of Washington District Library is accepting book, DVD, and CD donations for our Spring Booksale. Donations will be accepted March 30 – April 12 during open hours at the Main Library.
