Kennel Lake Annual Spring Fish Fry April 30th from 4-7pm Serving Fresh Whole Catfish & Alaskan Walleye from Dixons. Also available is chicken, baked or fried. Dinner includes choice of entrée with sides, coffee & punch. Hotdogs also available. Soda and bottled water will be available for purchase. There will also be a bake sale for desserts. BYOB including adult beverages. Carry-outs available. Tickets are $9 in advance, $11 at the door, kids 12 & under are only $5. Tickets can be purchased in Morton at MCB main branch on Jackson and in Washington at Heartland Bank on Cummings Ln. Public welcome, bring a friend! For more info contact Kari at 309-266-9641

Animal Rescue Giving Tree at Washington District Library – Sunnyland Branch

Help the Tazewell County Animal Shelter stock their shelves and provide newly adopted animals with the essentials they need. Beginning February 1, 2026, select ornaments with items to donate, purchase the items, and bring them back to the Sunnyland Branch by March 10th.
