Event Description:
This multi-media immersive experience is a world premiere. Local artists Doug and Eileen Leunig collaborate with Maestro Commanday in creating this one-of-a-kind interaction of sound, light, and space. Copland’s Appalachian Spring, Wagner’s Siegfried Idyll, Vivaldi’s Spring, and Arvo Pärt’s Fratres will be synchronized with imagery and lighting designed and curated by the Leunigs. This ‘flight’ of music paired with imagery will be spectacular! This concert benefits the Sun Foundation.

Take a walk through Washington Park and enjoy a story as you stroll! Beginning at the parking lot located on the Lincoln Grade School side of Washington Park, follow the sidewalk to read a story. This two-month session’s book is There Was a Cold Lady Who Swallowed Some Snow by Lucille Colandro.
