Event Description:
Come out and join the WHS for our annual Ice Cream Social. Once again it will generously sponsored by Tim & Jan Whiteside from Mason-White Funeral Homes. The Dement-Zinser house will be open during this time with wonderful exhibits. An authentic 1862 Abe Lincln letter, 1858 Washington, Illinois, currency & antique ice cream dishes. We will be announcing this year's Roots Award Recipient. You won't want to miss the "sweet treats" and historical artifacts and items.

StoryWalk in Washington Park
Take a walk through Washington Park and enjoy a story as you stroll! Beginning at the parking lot located on the Lincoln Grade School side of Washington Park, follow the sidewalk to read a story. This two-month session’s book is Love Monster by Rachel Bright.
FoWL Booksale Donations

Friends of Washington District Library is accepting book, DVD, and CD donations for our Spring Booksale. Donations will be accepted March 30 – April 12 during open hours at the Main Library.
