Did you know … -LinkedIn has over 900 million users worldwide and welcomes three new members every second? -LinkedIn is a database for networking and relationship building? -LinkedIn is also being used by businesses of all types to promote their services and products? -LinkedIn uses keywords and hashtags for discoverability? In this workshop, you will learn: -How to optimize your LinkedIn profile -How to create a company page -Where to effectively incorporate keywords -How to build your brand and create brand awareness -Best practices for making connections, gaining followers, and promoting your business Speaker: Theresa Bloom is a Social Media Adviser at the Turner Center, as well as the Social Media Manager for the Foster College of Business and Caterpillar College of Engineering and Technology at Bradley University. Theresa has been with the Turner Center for 5 years. She enjoys working with small business owners and those wanting to start their own business. She has a passion for helping business owners get their businesses discovered through the use of social media, and is excited to share her knowledge and expertise with her clients. Prior to coming to Bradley, she had a career in the medical field, as well as past experience in the insurance industry. Theresa is a Peoria native, having attended Peoria Notre Dame high school, as well as being a graduate of Bradley University.
