Please join the Washington Historical Society on Saturday July 19 at 10:30am for a program by railroad expert Mike Matejka about Illinois' rich railroad history. He will pay particular attention to the three railroads that have passed through Washington. According to Mr. Matejka, Illinois is the nation's railroad crossroads.
