The Good Neighbor Days 5K Race will be held on May 30, 2015. It features a 1 Mile Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run available for runners of all ages and levels as well as a fun family event. Come run this fast race! It runs rain or shine! 1 Mile Run/Walk - 7:30 a.m. - $15.00-$20.00 5K Race - 7:30 a.m. - $25.00-$35.00 ($35.00 Race Day) All proceeds of this event benefit the Washington Park District Foundation.

Animal Rescue Giving Tree at Washington District Library – Sunnyland Branch

Help the Tazewell County Animal Shelter stock their shelves and provide newly adopted animals with the essentials they need. Beginning February 1, 2026, select ornaments with items to donate, purchase the items, and bring them back to the Sunnyland Branch by March 10th.
