Event Description:
Our 2nd Annual Golf Outing to benefit Building Hope in Kids - Uganda (BHIK-U) will be held Saturday, Sept. 14 at Quail Meadows Golf Course. It's a 4-player scramble, shotgun start. $75/player includes greens fee, cart, & dinner at Quail Meadows afterwards. Hole sponsorships are still available. Our boarding primary school in Uganda opened for classes in February, 2019 with over 300 students! This BHIK-U fundraiser will help raise the money needed to build both boys' and girls' dormitories before the next school year begins.

StoryWalk in Washington Park
Take a walk through Washington Park and enjoy a story as you stroll! Beginning at the parking lot located on the Lincoln Grade School side of Washington Park, follow the sidewalk to read a story. This two-month session’s book is Señorita Mariposa By Ben Gundersheimer and will be displayed through Tuesday, September 30th.
