The HFO opens it's season featuring one of the world's premiere musical artists specializing in the Baroque Style- Susanna Perry Gilmore, rotating concertmaster and soloist with Apollo's Fire, and Concertmaster of the Omaha Symphony. Lesser-known gems of Bach, Telemann, and Vivaldi bring the Baroques' color, fire, passion, and pathos, with an added touch of Classical style in Bolognes' "Mozartean" Violin Concerto in G. Take a walk through Washington Park and enjoy a story as you stroll! Beginning at the parking lot located on the Lincoln Grade School side of Washington Park, follow the sidewalk to read a story. This two-month session’s book is Love Monster by Rachel Bright.
