Event Description:
Bob Streitmatter, Registered Landscape Architect and Manager at Luthy Botanical Garden, will discuss how the best gardens are those with good structure and interest throughout the year. He will share fun design elements as well as a plant palette for all four seasons. Join us for complimentary refreshments starting at 6:30 p.m., and a chance to purchase Dutch grown tulip bulbs and specialty tote bags to support city beautification projects and our ongoing tree fund. The presentation begins at 6:45 p.m.

Animal Rescue Giving Tree at Washington District Library – Sunnyland Branch

Help the Tazewell County Animal Shelter stock their shelves and provide newly adopted animals with the essentials they need. Beginning February 1, 2026, select ornaments with items to donate, purchase the items, and bring them back to the Sunnyland Branch by March 10th.
