Event Description:

Get into the beautiful art of Glass and unleash your creativity with our Fused Glass Balloons class! In this hands on workshop, you’ll learn the art of creating beautiful fused glass sun catcher adorned with charming bits of glass and beautiful color too. You will get to learn how to cut and arrange different types of glass pieces into a design. We will then fire your piece in our kiln which fuses the glass shapes together. Your project will be ready for pick up in approximately 2 weeks.

One of our awesome staff members will go over all the ins and outs of beginning glass fusing and we provide plenty of glass and all the tools you need to complete your project, then you will be left to your own creativity and have plenty of time to finish your design.  Fused class is for adults and tween/teens.  So grab a friend or two and join us for FUSED GLASS…you will be hooked!

We promise a funtastic time at our studio!    We have soda, water and snacks for purchase.  Additionally, we offer a full bar for our over 21 artists.  We do not allow outside alcoholic beverages

Bicentennial History Exhibit – On display July 13th – August 24th, 2025 at Five Points Washington

Bicentennial and historical images will be exhibited by the Washington Historical Society on the Community Gallery Wall at Five Points Washington. The carefully curated photographs selected for this exhibit give a unique insight into events, people, and places from Washington’s past. The selected photographs span the last 150 years of Washington’s history and feature community events and everyday life in Washington.


StoryWalk in Washington Park

Take a walk through Washington Park and enjoy a story as you stroll! Beginning at the parking lot located on the Lincoln Grade School side of Washington Park, follow the sidewalk to read a story. This two-month session’s book is Señorita Mariposa By Ben Gundersheimer and will be displayed through Tuesday, September 30th.
