Event Description:
Join us in the library's parking lot to view the 2023 Annular Eclipse! We will have games, crafts, & activities to keep us all entertained until the big event. The partial eclipse will be visible at 10:23 AM, with peak viewing at 11:54 AM, and final visibility at 1:33 PM. We will have a limited number of eclipse viewing glasses available on a first come, first serve basis. All ages; no registration.

Animal Rescue Giving Tree at Washington District Library – Sunnyland Branch

Help the Tazewell County Animal Shelter stock their shelves and provide newly adopted animals with the essentials they need. Beginning February 1, 2026, select ornaments with items to donate, purchase the items, and bring them back to the Sunnyland Branch by March 10th.
