Event Description:
Washington's American Legion Post 100 will hold an Easter Egg Hunt on March 30. The event will be held at the post home, 211 Legion Road, Washington. The hunt will begin at 11:00 a.m. Children will be able to participate in four separate age groups: 0-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12 years of age. Prizes will be awarded in each age group.
All children participating in the Easter Egg Hunt are asked to bring their own basket. The hunt will begin promptly at 11:00 a.m. and it is suggested that participants arrive shortly before that time.
Prior to March 30 East Egg Hunt, residents of Washington Christian Village will stuff the eggs for the hunt with candy.

Bicentennial History Exhibit – On display July 13th – August 24th, 2025 at Five Points Washington

Bicentennial and historical images will be exhibited by the Washington Historical Society on the Community Gallery Wall at Five Points Washington. The carefully curated photographs selected for this exhibit give a unique insight into events, people, and places from Washington’s past. The selected photographs span the last 150 years of Washington’s history and feature community events and everyday life in Washington.


StoryWalk in Washington Park

Take a walk through Washington Park and enjoy a story as you stroll! Beginning at the parking lot located on the Lincoln Grade School side of Washington Park, follow the sidewalk to read a story. This two-month session’s book is Señorita Mariposa By Ben Gundersheimer and will be displayed through Tuesday, September 30th.
