The Illinois Small Business Development Center at Bradley University is partnering with Grow with Google and is pleased to provide this training opportunity where attendees will get practical strategies for improving their online visibility. This training is offered at no cost to participants. Grow with Google helps people grow their skills, careers and businesses by offering free digital skills training and tools. Anyone with a website or online business presence can benefit from search engine optimization (SEO), which is the process of helping search engines find and display YOUR site in search results. Hosted by one of Google’s internal SEO experts, this workshop will give you a behind-the-scenes view into how Google approaches SEO for its own sites. You will learn practical strategies that you or your web development team can implement to help drive traffic from Google Search to your site. Audience: Small businesses With support from Cares Act funding and the Gilmore Foundation, the Illinois Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Bradley University has launched programs to support local businesses, in assisting in the implementation or improvement of their eCommerce strategies. Bicentennial History Exhibit – On display July 13th – August 24th, 2025 at Five Points Washington
Bicentennial and historical images will be exhibited by the Washington Historical Society on the Community Gallery Wall at Five Points Washington. The carefully curated photographs selected for this exhibit give a unique insight into events, people, and places from Washington’s past. The selected photographs span the last 150 years of Washington’s history and feature community events and everyday life in Washington.
StoryWalk in Washington Park
Take a walk through Washington Park and enjoy a story as you stroll! Beginning at the parking lot located on the Lincoln Grade School side of Washington Park, follow the sidewalk to read a story. This two-month session’s book is Señorita Mariposa By Ben Gundersheimer and will be displayed through Tuesday, September 30th.
