"Dress for Dax" is being hosted by a Washburn High School student wanting to make a difference. She has been collecting old prom dresses and has received over 200 dresses. They will be selling them at Five Points Washington on February 2 from 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. All profits go directly to the Dax Locke Foundation. There will be dresses for all occasions in various lengths and sizes to choose from - new and used.
There will be dresses from ball gowns to mother-of-the-bride and every event in between. Stop in and turn your donation to St. Jude into a night to remember. It's not too late to make a donation.

Take a walk through Washington Park and enjoy a story as you stroll! Beginning at the parking lot located on the Lincoln Grade School side of Washington Park, follow the sidewalk to read a story. This two-month session’s book is Love Monster by Rachel Bright.

Friends of Washington District Library is accepting book, DVD, and CD donations for our Spring Booksale. Donations will be accepted March 30 – April 12 during open hours at the Main Library.
