Event Description:
DaxFest is a community-wide event allowing families to make memories while trick-or-treating with local businesses along the trail in the Washington Park. Families come with kids in costume to trick or treat. Entertainment featuring: LaserWars . The Unique Twist . Julie K . Hayrack rides . crafts . games . Washington Fire Department . Petting zoo . live music entertainment . and much more all included in ticket price! Concessions and bake sales available! Brought to you by the Dax Locke Foundationa and the Washington Park District

StoryWalk in Washington Park
Take a walk through Washington Park and enjoy a story as you stroll! Beginning at the parking lot located on the Lincoln Grade School side of Washington Park, follow the sidewalk to read a story. This two-month session’s book is Love Monster by Rachel Bright.

Friends of Washington District Library is accepting book, DVD, and CD donations for our Spring Booksale. Donations will be accepted March 30 – April 12 during open hours at the Main Library.
