Event Description:
Kids ages 3 ½ through 6th Grade are invited to come on an adventure with us at Vacation Bible School at Crossroads United Methodist Church of Washington. This year’s theme is “Rescue Me” and will be July 9-13 from 9-11:30 a.m. Each day at VBS, kids travel through fun rotations that reinforce relevant Bible Points and immerse kids in new adventures. On Friday, July 13, the kids are invited to an awesome carnival with lots of great food and fun games! To register your child, go to www.washingtoncrossroads.com. Questions? Fees/Admission:
Registration is required. Please register between May 21 and June 17. For registration with VBS t-shirt the cost is $12. For registration without a t-shirt the cost is $6. Late registration will be available from June 26 until July 8, a t-shirt will not be available, the cost to register with the late registration will be $10.

Ongoing Programs & Features

Bicentennial History Exhibit – On display July 13th – August 24th, 2025 at Five Points Washington

Bicentennial and historical images will be exhibited by the Washington Historical Society on the Community Gallery Wall at Five Points Washington. The carefully curated photographs selected for this exhibit give a unique insight into events, people, and places from Washington’s past. The selected photographs span the last 150 years of Washington’s history and feature community events and everyday life in Washington.


StoryWalk in Washington Park

Take a walk through Washington Park and enjoy a story as you stroll! Beginning at the parking lot located on the Lincoln Grade School side of Washington Park, follow the sidewalk to read a story. This two-month session’s book is Señorita Mariposa By Ben Gundersheimer and will be displayed through Tuesday, September 30th.
