Join us for the annual Community Prayer Breakfast, a morning of fellowship, reflection, and gratitude as we come together to celebrate God’s grace and lift up prayers for our community.
 
Formerly known as the Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast, this cherished event continues its tradition of bringing neighbors, business leaders, and community members together in faith and unity. Enjoy a delicious breakfast, meaningful messages, and an opportunity to connect with others who share a heart for Washington.

Animal Rescue Giving Tree at Washington District Library – Sunnyland Branch

Help the Tazewell County Animal Shelter stock their shelves and provide newly adopted animals with the essentials they need. Beginning February 1, 2026, select ornaments with items to donate, purchase the items, and bring them back to the Sunnyland Branch by March 10th.
