Experience two classic silent films by Charlie Chaplin, one of cinema’s greatest director/actors with the Heartland Festival Orchestra. Presented and performed with live orchestra, these films showcase the humor and heart of “The Tramp,” as Chaplin was known. Musical scores by Craig Safan and Erich Korngold take you back to the ragtime of the ‘Roaring 20’s.’
Take a walk through Washington Park and enjoy a story as you stroll! Beginning at the parking lot located on the Lincoln Grade School side of Washington Park, follow the sidewalk to read a story. This two-month session’s book is Love Monster by Rachel Bright.
