Central Illinois Gold Star Families is a 501c3 not for profit organization that provides compassionate support to those who have lost a loved one in service to our country through the Armed Forces. We include all family members representing all conflicts, all branches of service and all circumstance of death.
Our mission is to provide honor, hope and healing to survivors through remembrances of our fallen heroes by coming together for various events.

Take a walk through Washington Park and enjoy a story as you stroll! Beginning at the parking lot located on the Lincoln Grade School side of Washington Park, follow the sidewalk to read a story. This two-month session’s book is Love Monster by Rachel Bright.
