From Aaron Copland to George Gershwin, Duke Ellington, John Williams and Henry Mancini, America has produced some of the worlds most innovative and influential composers. Their music reflects the unique cultural cornucopia, from jazz to western motifs, bathing your senses in the sounds that define American music. Come celebrate and honor this amazing ensemble of composers with the Peoria Pops Orchestra.
Take a walk through Washington Park and enjoy a story as you stroll! Beginning at the parking lot located on the Lincoln Grade School side of Washington Park, follow the sidewalk to read a story. This two-month session’s book is Love Monster by Rachel Bright.
