This is the second of our 5-part series on learning the basics of Canva. Whether for marketing, business, or educational materials, using Canva will ensure your success with its template selections and ease of use. Canva Part 1: In this introductory class, small business owners will learn how to use Canva and its Magic Studio to revolutionize their marketing materials using AI. This session will cover AI-driven templates that automatically align with your brand’s style and the powerful Magic Write tool for generating text, ensuring content is eye-catching and resonates with your target audience. We will delve into practical examples such as designing business cards, flyers, and social media posts, demonstrating how these tools can save time and reduce costs while maintaining a high standard of quality. Additionally, we will explore Canva’s analytics tools, teaching users how to leverage data to make informed decisions about their marketing strategies. Bicentennial History Exhibit – On display July 13th – August 24th, 2025 at Five Points Washington

Bicentennial and historical images will be exhibited by the Washington Historical Society on the Community Gallery Wall at Five Points Washington. The carefully curated photographs selected for this exhibit give a unique insight into events, people, and places from Washington’s past. The selected photographs span the last 150 years of Washington’s history and feature community events and everyday life in Washington.


StoryWalk in Washington Park

Take a walk through Washington Park and enjoy a story as you stroll! Beginning at the parking lot located on the Lincoln Grade School side of Washington Park, follow the sidewalk to read a story. This two-month session’s book is Señorita Mariposa By Ben Gundersheimer and will be displayed through Tuesday, September 30th.
