All ages; no registration; Enjoy a visit to summer camp with interactive storyteller, Dennis Porter! From his website: Campfire at Camp Poison Oak-Join us around the campfire for lots of stories, singing and silliness.  There will be magic and mystery; games and guffaws. Find out what creatures might live in Lake Poison Oak and help solve the mystery that's been told by camp counselors for decades. No fear, nothing itchy or scratchy will be provided at the program.

Animal Rescue Giving Tree at Washington District Library – Sunnyland Branch

Help the Tazewell County Animal Shelter stock their shelves and provide newly adopted animals with the essentials they need. Beginning February 1, 2026, select ornaments with items to donate, purchase the items, and bring them back to the Sunnyland Branch by March 10th.
