Want to be a part of a book club, but just don’t have time to meet up regularly? Join our Book Scouts Beanstack Challenge! Sign-up starting September 10 by going to the reading challenges tab on our website, enrolling on the Beanstack app, or stop into either library! Read and complete activities to earn your badges and unlock Book Scout swag. Book Scouts will meet quarterly to discuss the books we have been reading to complete the challenge, award swag, and complete a fun activity. This is our first meeting where we will meet other members and plan the activities for the rest of the year! Registration is required for the kick-off party. Call 309-444-2241 to register. Ages: 9-14
Take a walk through Washington Park and enjoy a story as you stroll! Beginning at the parking lot located on the Lincoln Grade School side of Washington Park, follow the sidewalk to read a story. This two-month session’s book is Love Monster by Rachel Bright.
