Event Description:
It just isn’t Christmas until you’ve experienced the Peoria Area Civic Chorale’s An American Family Christmas! Get into the Yuletide spirit with beautiful music from classic carols like “The First Noel” and “Angels We Have Heard on High” to secular holiday favorites like “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” and “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas.” Each performance will feature the Civic Chorale, the Civic Chorale’s Youth Chorus, a performance by one of our Young Artist Competition winners and our special featured soloist for Christmas 2017, lyric soprano Shelby Jones Wehrenberg. Plan ahead, pick the date that fits perfectly into your family’s holiday plans, and come experience the Civic Chorale’s spectacular An American Family Christmas! StoryWalk in Washington Park
Take a walk through Washington Park and enjoy a story as you stroll! Beginning at the parking lot located on the Lincoln Grade School side of Washington Park, follow the sidewalk to read a story. This two-month session’s book is Love Monster by Rachel Bright.

Friends of Washington District Library is accepting book, DVD, and CD donations for our Spring Booksale. Donations will be accepted March 30 – April 12 during open hours at the Main Library.
