Event Description:
The Peoria Area Civic Chorale will present An American Family Christmas at Five Points Washington (360 N. Wilmor, Washington) on Dec. 16 & 17 at 7:30 p.m. and Dec. 18 at 2:30 p.m. The repertoire will include contemporary arrangements of hymns like O Holy Night and O Little Town of Bethlehem and classic songs like It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas and Jingle Bells. Featuring guest artist Angela Born, the Peoria Area Civic Chorale Youth Chorus, a winner of our Young Artist competition nightly and a Jr. High Festival Chorus performance on Friday. Santa and Frosty will also make an appearance. Tickets are $8 for students, $20 for adults and $18 for groups of 10 or more and are available at 309-693-6725, www.peoriacivicchorale.org or at the door.

Bicentennial History Exhibit – On display July 13th – August 24th, 2025 at Five Points Washington

Bicentennial and historical images will be exhibited by the Washington Historical Society on the Community Gallery Wall at Five Points Washington. The carefully curated photographs selected for this exhibit give a unique insight into events, people, and places from Washington’s past. The selected photographs span the last 150 years of Washington’s history and feature community events and everyday life in Washington.


StoryWalk in Washington Park

Take a walk through Washington Park and enjoy a story as you stroll! Beginning at the parking lot located on the Lincoln Grade School side of Washington Park, follow the sidewalk to read a story. This two-month session’s book is Señorita Mariposa By Ben Gundersheimer and will be displayed through Tuesday, September 30th.
