The Peoria Area Civic Chorale will present An American Family Christmas at Five Points Washington (360 N. Wilmor, Washington) on Dec. 16 & 17 at 7:30 p.m. and Dec. 18 at 2:30 p.m. The repertoire will include contemporary arrangements of hymns like O Holy Night and O Little Town of Bethlehem and classic songs like It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas and Jingle Bells. Featuring guest artist Angela Born, the Peoria Area Civic Chorale Youth Chorus, a winner of our Young Artist competition nightly and a Jr. High Festival Chorus performance on Friday. Santa and Frosty will also make an appearance. Take a walk through Washington Park and enjoy a story as you stroll! Beginning at the parking lot located on the Lincoln Grade School side of Washington Park, follow the sidewalk to read a story. This two-month session’s book is There Was a Cold Lady Who Swallowed Some Snow by Lucille Colandro.
