Event Description:
Join Peoria Area Civic Chorale and special guest Dimitri German, for a “little night music” May 3rd and 4th at 7:30 p.m. a Five Points Washington. Enjoy songs such as “It’s a Grand Night for Singing” from State Fair, “Tonight” from West Side Story, “I Could Have Danced All Night” from My Fair Lady, Stephen Foster’s Beautiful Dreamer, Cole Porter’s In the Still of the Night, Hoagy Carmichael’s In the Cool, Cool, Cool of the Evening and The Nearness of You, Dream a Little Dream of Me, plus many more! Friday’s concert will feature a special 75 voice 4th grade Festival Chorus comprised of students from area schools and conclude with a dessert reception. Tickets are $20 adults and $8 for students through college, with a group rate of $18 for 10 adults or more. Animal Rescue Giving Tree at Washington District Library – Sunnyland Branch

Help the Tazewell County Animal Shelter stock their shelves and provide newly adopted animals with the essentials they need. Beginning February 1, 2026, select ornaments with items to donate, purchase the items, and bring them back to the Sunnyland Branch by March 10th.
