Make 2023 the year you advocate for the global poor! Attend the Hobby With A Purpose event to learn more about volunteering with The Borgen Project. The Borgen Project is a nonprofit working to eliminate global poverty by mobilizing people from all over the United States and raising awareness about the United States’ poverty-reduction efforts.

StoryWalk in Washington Park
Take a walk through Washington Park and enjoy a story as you stroll! Beginning at the parking lot located on the Lincoln Grade School side of Washington Park, follow the sidewalk to read a story. This two-month session’s book is Love Monster by Rachel Bright.
FoWL Booksale Donations
Looking for something to do this weekend? How about spring cleaning your bookshelves!
Friends of Washington District Library is accepting book, DVD, and CD donations for our Spring Booksale. Donations will be accepted March 30 – April 12 during open hours at the Main Library.
