The Marching Panther Invitational is the traditional “kickoff” to the high school marching band season for our performing bands.

 

Join us for the 37th Annual WCHS Marching Panther Invitational!

A great day of music, competition, & fun! See twenty-six high school marching bands perform their 2025 field show. The 2025 Marching Panthers will present "For the Dreamers" in exhibition.

 

September 6, 2025

Gates open at 11:30am, performances start at 12:16pm

Ticket prices are:

Adults  $10  

Students (K-12) and Seniors:  $5

Animal Rescue Giving Tree at Washington District Library – Sunnyland Branch

Help the Tazewell County Animal Shelter stock their shelves and provide newly adopted animals with the essentials they need. Beginning February 1, 2026, select ornaments with items to donate, purchase the items, and bring them back to the Sunnyland Branch by March 10th.
