Job Description
Title:                  Administrative Assistant
Reports to:        Executive Director
Supervises:       N/A
Employment type: Approx: 32.5 Hours/Week (6.5 Hours/Day, 5 Days/Week). 9:00-4:30 Mon-Fri (1 hour lunch)
Compensation: $9-$10.00/Hour
Summary of Position:
Welcoming face of the Chamber
· Answer and direct phone calls on multi-line system
· Answer general request e-mails that come into the chamber
· Sort and process and record all mail
· Fulfill member requests passed on from Membership Manager
· Assists Staff with event and membership tasks
· Manage Welcome Bags and notify members when supplies are low
· Track all copies, faxes and printing for chamber members on chamber equipment
· Inventory office supplies and place orders when needed
· Straighten brochure rack and notify members when supplies are low
· Mail tourism and relocation packets when available
· Update Community Calendar
· Maintain a clean office environment
· Attend Events when necessary, which may include events during non-working hours
· Maintain appropriate dress, demeanor and conduct above reproach on duty as well as off
· Ability to update and maintain Xcel Worksheets
· Experience with a database
· Other duties as assigned
Familiarity with Publisher and Quickbooks is preferred but not required
